Warning – Are you using one of the recalled Mamas & Papas car seats from Argos?
A warning has been issued by Argos about a number of Mamas and Papas child car seats they’ve been selling recently. They’ve advised parents to stop using certain models because they’re worried about a potential safety concern that may cause the seats to crack under impact. The fear is that children will be injured if they are involved in a collision, as the seats do not provide the correct level of protection.
The seats affected are made exclusively for Argos by Mamas and Papas and are model numbers: Mercury Group 1 Black
Mercury Group 1 Grey
Mercury Group 1-2-3 Black
Mercury Group 1, 2, 3 Grey
Mercury Group 2-3 Black and Grey
Argos also provided the catalogue numbers for the affected seats: 297/7526
So, if you have one of these, stop using it right now and take it back to Argos for a full refund.
