Can I get car finance with no proof of income?

We understand there are various reasons why some customers are unable to show a proof of income when applying for car finance.

Whether you’re currently unemployed, self-employed or retired, we work with a large panel of lenders, some of which accept applications with no proof of income, to try and find you the best car finance deals.

When you make an application for car finance, the decision you receive is based on your personal circumstances and the lender will take into consideration numerous factors such as the likelihood of you repaying the loan amount in the time period you’ve applied for. This is why some lenders will require a proof of income to prove you are able to repay the loan. Some lenders are able to do this electronically without you needing to send in any documents.

The lender also considers your credit history when making their decision. We work with lenders who specialise in bad credit car finance and try to work with all customers to find them the best deal possible from our panel of lenders.

If you’re worried about being accepted for car finance or aren’t sure if you have the proof required, you can apply without impacting your credit score. Our team are experts in car finance and will be able to help you with any questions you have.
