Car Loan 4U opens central Manchester office
Car finance expert, Car Loan 4U has taken occupancy of Grade A refurbished office space in the heart of Manchester.
Ranked in the top 10 fastest growing businesses in the North at the recent Northern Tech Awards, Car Loan 4U has moved into the fourth floor of the Acresfield building in St Anns Square, with the view to increase their footprint further in the building within the coming months.
The move is a direct result of continued growth that has seen 100% year-on-year progression for the company over the last four years and a desire to attract the very best talent in the North.
Car Loan 4U’s new office is in addition to its 12,000+ sq ft at Winterton House on Lyme Green Business Park in Macclesfield, where the firm already employs over 250 people.
The new base will allow Car Loan 4U to create another 50 jobs in 2015.
James Wilkinson, CEO at Car Loan 4U said: “We’re very excited about moving into Acresfield. The facilities in the building are excellent and for us to grown in-line with our ambitions, we need a first class working environment that, alongside a great benefits package, will enable us to continue building a world class team here at Car Loan 4U.
“Marketing, Tech and Product teams will be moving to Manchester and along with the fit-out in Acresfield we are also planning to overhaul our existing facilities in Macclesfield and grow our Sales and Operations teams by 25 per cent this year.” The expansion follows the news of the car buying expert’s double award win at the Motor Finance Europe awards, scooping both the ‘Intermediary of the Year’ and the ‘Rising Star’ award for employee, Stephanie Wood. OBI Property represented Car Loan 4U on acquiring the new lease and was appointed to design and project manage the new fit out.

Aberdeen Asset Management completed a comprehensive refurbishment of the building in late 2014 which has transformed the quality of the space on offer. The deal closely follows the recent letting to Morgan Hunt in the building. The building is easily accessible from both Piccadilly and Victoria Railway stations and the Metrolink can be reached at both Piccadilly Gardens and St Peter’s Square. Savills represented the landlord on the transaction. The new Car Loan 4U Manchester office was officially opened on Tuesday (21st April). Car Loan 4U join commercial estate agents, Christie & Co and Tushingham Moore as tenants of the building.
