Zuto (formerly Car Loan 4U), the UK’s leading online car finance specialist, has been rewarded for its employee engagement after being ranked 83rd in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2014.

Zuto (formerly Car Loan 4U), the UK’s leading online car finance specialist, has been rewarded for its employee engagement after being ranked 83rd in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2014. As a further honour, Zuto was also awarded 2 Star Accreditation in recognition of ‘outstanding’ levels of engagement within the company.

Now in its 14th year, the Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work event, held on February 26th in Battersea, London, was a showcase for the best companies across the UK to gather and celebrate. A total of 897 companies entered the awards, with the results based on surveys of over 250,000 employees to measure workplace engagement on a range of issues.

Zutos ranking was even more special, as this was the first time that the company had taken part in the Best Companies process. Of the Zuto employees surveyed, 98% believe that they make a valuable contribution to the success of the company, while 93% feel that their manager talks openly and honestly with them.

Zuto CEO James Wilkinson commented: “To be named in the top 100 Best Companies has been a long-term strategy of Zuto and I could not be more proud.”

“We have created a really strong culture at the company where employees are passionate about coming into work every day. We want everyone to enjoy their roles, have fun and directly contribute to the success of the business.

“Our employees are at the very heart of Zuto and the culture here has been created through their dedication to ensuring we constantly evolve as a company. It’s a real achievement for us to be ranked 83rd and it’s something we want to build on as we continue to grow.”

Zuto has a strong ethos on employee engagement and held its first annual Partners Ceremony to recognise the achievements of its employees last year, and also holds regular social events, activity team days out and extensive training programmes.

Established in 2006, Zuto provides an online service for consumers looking for car finance, and employs over 160 people at its head office in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
