Car finance specialist, Zuto, has been awarded a three-star accreditation from Best Companies, the employee engagement specialists and has simultaneously secured itself 18th position in the Top 100 Best Companies to Work For List.

The recognition is due to Zuto achieving a high score in the Best Companies’ survey, which examined the ins-and-outs of company life. The survey reveals how employees really perceive their work environment through an entirely anonymous survey. The three-star rating achieved is considered ‘extraordinary’ by the Best Companies’ benchmark.

Zuto, which employs over 300 people known affectionately as ‘Zutonites’, across sites in both Macclesfield and Manchester city centre features in the Top 100 list for mid-sized companies. The’s company achievement follows four years of consecutive 100% growth, achieving £20.5m turnover in FY2015.

In May last year Zuto also opened a state of the art office space in St Annes Square, Manchester. However, key to the Zutonites approval is the company’s management with 87% saying they felt positively towards the executive team at Zuto. The Best Companies’ survey also revealed that staff felt positive about their future with the company and were excited by the company’s growth.

James Wilkinson, CEO and co-founder of Zuto, said: “Our team of Zutonites has grown substantially in the last 12 months and we’ve invested an incredible amount of time in ensuring everyone can get true satisfaction from their role.

“We look for people who are always prepared to innovate and change and ask if the work they are doing truly helps the customer. I am great believer in empowering people to make a difference and by creating that kind of energy across our business, we can be sure we’re all striving for the same goal.”

Jonathan Austin, CEO and Founder of Best Companies commented, “I would like to congratulate Zuto on their outstanding achievement. We know that the main challenge for many organisations this year will be the talent attraction and retention. For organisations like Zuto that have demonstrated their ability to create an engaged workforce and recognise the importance of caring about their employees, they are in a good position to retain and attract the talent they need.”
