More Growth! We’re gonna need a bigger boat!
It’s been a while since I’ve last posted an update on the website, but there’s certainly no better time after we were recognised as the 13th fastest growing digital company in Europe at the Media Momentum Awards. We’re also smashing the local competition, as we’re the 7th fastest growing in the North! Boom!
This is a truly tremendous achievement for Car Loan 4U, and even more impressive as we’ve climbed 10 places since last year. Gotta be aiming for the top 10 next year, especially with all the plans we’ve got in place for this year and the investment from SEP. Everything’s moving quickly and I couldn’t be more proud and excited!
Sadly, I wasn’t able to attend the event itself in Paris, but when I wrote about us being one of the Best Small Companies to Work For recently I said that I couldn’t wait for the next surprise – and here it is! We’ve even had some recent sunshine, so it really is a great day to be celebrating in Macclesfield. Spirits are high in the office and that’s the most important thing to me.
The awards itself are based on a company’s revenue and annual growth over the last three years, but it goes without saying that it’s the energy and commitment of the team that’s got us here.
I want to thank everyone at Car Loan 4U, as without all the hard work of our partners this achievement and growth of the business as a whole would not have been possible. With each New Year, you set yourself new goals and targets and the passion I see on a daily basis from everyone at the company makes me realise what a strong culture we have here.
This time last year we had around 100 employees, but right now we are nearer to 200. It’s getting hard keeping count and we’re probably going to need some more space to fit in the next lot of recruits! But everyone who joins is a new member of the family and it’s great seeing the team grow, and also seeing people moving up in their careers here and smashing targets.
To say it’s been a successful year so far would be an understatement. Right now I’m over the moon, but I hope this isn’t the last time I’m celebrating this year.
